The wait is finally over. UNIHACK is back for 2026 and shaping up to be better than ever! Whether you're looking to boost your resume or create something meaningful, this is your chance to step outside your comfort zone and build something unforgettable. Never heard of UNIHACK? Originating at WIRED, a Monash IT club, UNIHACK has quickly grown into one of Australia's most popular student hackathons! Over the course of three action-packed days, you and your team will respond to a chosen prompt, brainstorm ideas, and turn them into a working prototype to present before industry judges. Whether you're a beginner to coding or a seasoned hackathon participant, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and get inspired!

To successfully register for UNIHACK, make sure you follow the steps below: 1) Make sure you and your team register a UNIHACK account so that you can officially participate in the hackathon at https://www.unihack.net/. 2) Join UNIHACK's Discord so that you can keep up with all the important information throughout the event at https://discord.gg/yYMwxu7KPR. 3) This year, MAC is hosting the Melbourne Hub for UNIHACK! If you plan to attend any events in person, make sure you register here at https://monash.club/unihack-2026.

Event Timeline: Friday, March 13 (6-8PM) – Opening Ceremony at LG02 Technology and Design Building (Formerly Woodside). Saturday, March 14 (9:30AM-5:30PM) – Hacking Hub at LG02 Technology and Design Building (Formerly Woodside). Sunday, March 15 (9:30AM-5PM) – Final Hacking Sprint at LG02 Technology and Design Building (Formerly Woodside).

Important: If you had an account last year, you'll need to create a new one. Every team member must register individually before the team leader adds them to the team.
